Eric del sastre
Predoctoral Researcher
Eric is a graduated in Biotechnology from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. During 2017-2018, he characterized plant genes under the supervision of Dr. Manuel González Guerrero in the Severo Ochoa center “Centro de Biotecnología y Genómica de Plantas” (CBGP UPM-INIA).
He studied the Master’s Degree in Pharmacology Research in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. During his studies, he evaluated compounds for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease in the Pharmacology Department (UAM) under the supervision of Dr. Manuela García López.
Since October 2019, Eric studies his PhD in Pharmacology and Physiology in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid with a FPU fellowship granted by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. His thesis project is focused on Alzheimer’s disease and its associated comorbidities.
